Sitting here, all by myself, in this locked down situation caused by Covid-19 i’m starting to think about the mobility and immobility of my body.
Days ago i prepared a solid portion of Mul-Kimchi for my czech friends visiting us here in Zürich. It’s still bubbling. Kimchi is a korean pickle-dish which goes by an ongoing process of fermentation through different states of condition. One can say it is an outsourced condition of pre-digestion and like this a delegated out-of-body situation. I’m the kimchi, and the kimchi is me. The virus is unlimited, and so are the evertable spaces of our carried around bodies.
